Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries

1 tbsp. grated orange zest

1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 cup water

1/2 cup granular sugar substitute

Directions

1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, place cranberries, zest, cinnamon, and water, and stir to combine.

2. Simmer and cook; stir occasionally until berries have popped and mixture has thickened (about 10 minutes).

3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar substitute to taste.

4. Serve at room temperature.

I give “The South Beach Diet Parties & Holidays Cookbook” a two thumbs up!

Benefits of Combining Home and Auto Insurance

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

Home and car insurance are two types of insurance that nearly all people will need at some point in their lives. When you have a number of different insurance policies, the cost of premiums can quickly become a financial hardship. In situations such as these, we all want to get the best deal and the best coverage. One of the best ways to save money on these potentially expensive costs is to combine your home and car insurance with one single insurer.

Combining your home and auto insurance policies with a single insurer can greatly reduce your premium. According to the Insurance Information Institute, “combining your home and auto insurance policies could save you up to 15 percent on both premiums.” To compete for your business, many insurance providers provide discounts to customers who buy both home and auto insurance with them.

Combining both home and auto insurance can drastically reduce your premium coverage payments to insure the contents of our homes from fire, theft, etc, the structure of your home in the event of fire, wind, and other types of damage covered under the terms of the policy. As well, you will have protection for your vehicle in the event of an accident, especially liability, collision, theft, and vandalism. The majority of security companies that offer combined home and auto insurance coverage will bill you for both policies at once. This means you will make one payment each month.

The best way to find a cheap home and auto insurance rate is to search online. The fastest and simplest way to locate a combined cheap home and auto insurance policy is to compare home and auto insurance quotes using an online insurance comparison tool. There are many insurance sites that offer this comparison tool for free with no obligations to purchase. All that you have to do is fill out a quick quote form and then you receive several insurance quotes. You can then pick the best insurance policy that meets your needs.

When you combine your home and auto insurance, you will not only save money, but you will have the added convenience of one insurance package, one payment to make each month, one renewal date, and one single deductible that will apply in the event of a claim is made.

As with any type of insurance, it is important to do your research. You should find out how a company ranks in terms of how well they pay their claims and how strong they are financially. You should also read the insurance policy carefully so that you know exactly what you are covered for and how much the provider will pay for a claim. It is important to remember that having the right amount of coverage outweighs the cost of inadequate coverage.

Anyone with a home and vehicle needs to be protected by having insurance. With the current unstable economic market, it just makes sense to save money by combining both your home and car insurance policy.

When it comes to finding auto insurance quotes, you will need to provide a lot of information. This is a necessary process for driving, as having auto insurance is required by law.

A Storage Shed For All Your Lawn Equipment

Sunday, July 4th, 2010

If you are a homeowner you should have a storage shed for all of your lawn equipment. Lawn equipment does not do well sitting outside in the rain, direct sunlight, and the cold and hotter temperatures. All of these types of weather can easily help them to wear out long before its time.

Excess heat dries out rubber tubing that is, use for fuel lines like on push mowers, lawn tractors, weed eaters, and other types of gas powered lawn equipments. Direct sunlight also causes the tires on lawn tractors to crack and dry out this is, called weather rot. This can also be, caused from the colder temperatures as well. A storage shed will help to shelter the lawn equipment from the direct sunlight and the much colder freezing temperatures.

The colder weather will also affect the fuel that is in the lawn tractor causing the gas to form moisture. Moisture in the gas tanks and lines will damage the equipment. In addition to causing, the gas tanks to become brittle and crack or break damaging your equipment. By having, a storage shed to keep your equipments in will prevent these things from happening. Moreover the equipment will last much longer than if the equipment were to set outside in the different weather conditions.

You can purchase a storage shed already built large enough for all of the equipments that you have or need to keep out of the weather. On the other hand, you can build your own customized storage shed the way that you want it to be.

If you have a lawn tractor and all of the attachments for the lawn tractor then your storage shed will need to be rather large. In addition, if you have other types of lawn equipment; to store in the shed as well you will want and need a extremely large storage shed.

It is also a good ideal that your shed be large enough to double as a workshop this is in the case of you should need to work on or repair any of the lawn equipment. Moreover, you can service the lawn equipment in the shed also. The storage shed should be a place where you can keep all of the lawn equipment fluids, as well as any extra parts that you need for the equipment too.
